Interview: King Angeel
What is the most complex subject you’ve ever written about?
King Angeel : It was a text that i sent to my mom.. about coming out. It was a 2 paragraph message, and I will never forget the anxiety I felt in the moment after pressing send.
What is the most outstanding achievement you’ve ever accomplished?
King Angeel : I’ve ever accomplished was definitely coming to terms with my sexuality. I was very angry with myself and confused at one point in my life. High school was very hard for me, getting bullied while still trying to get my diploma was very difficult. So i would have to say graduating and accepting myself.
What are your long-term goals?
King Angeel : My long term goals are to get my degree in business. Work with huge brands, and learn to be more patient. I would also love to find love. At heart, I’m a hopless romantic.
What is the biggest mistake you have made within your career ?
King Angeel : My biggest mistake I have made in my career would have to be reading all of the negative comments and taking them personal. There was a time when I was very depressed because of the things people were telling me on Twitter. I’ve learned that you can’t make everyone happy & that’s just that.
What is one message that you would like to give to the world?
King Angeel : One message I would like to give to the world is to never give up. There’s been plenty of situations where I felt alone, and not worthy. That’s completely not true at all, we are all worthy of love and happiness. Period
Where do you see yourself in the next ten years?
King Angeel : I see myself moved out hopefully. Opening up my own business, and helping others. Nothing makes me more happy than teaching and creating content to make people smile.
If you could work with any entrepreneur who would it be & why?
King Angeel : If I could work with any entrepreneur it would have to be the Dolan Twins. They are a social media duo, and I’ve been watching them since I was in high school. They kind of inspired me to be authentic and real. They never stopped creating and that motivated me to keep going.
If you could work with any famous corporation who would it be and why?
King Angeel : If I could work with any famous corporation, It would have to be Louis Vuitton. Being able to wear something, or be the face of the brand would be a dream. I’ve always wanted to be the face of a big major designer brand.
